20th November 2015
Windsurfing: Llanfairfechan
Wind Direction: W
Wind Stength: F5
Surf / Sea State: Wind chop
Air Temperature: 8
Sea Temperature: 12.2
Weather: some sun and cloud
Max Speed: 28.4 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 21 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Cold wind so hat, mitts and shoes on. Looked good for 115l/6m, and on first run I could see line of white horses coming down Straits and wind increased to top F5 so I was overpowered in wind chop and board was a bit big for sea. Instead of usual 36cm slalom fin used smaller 28cm which was much more confortable. Good fun blasting to Dutchmans Bank but board was bit too big for chop. Some nice gybes and overpowered in others so back span out, or if I weighted front foot shoulder caught with spectacular catapault.
Getting windier so packed up after bit over an hour as enjoyed and didn't want two sets of gear in the cold. Another windsurfer and kiter going out as I packed up. 4*
